History
Malmo Martial Arts began in the early 90's as an extension of Mr. Malmo's love and passion for the martial arts. For some fifteen years, Mr. Malmo taught only to a small close-knit group dedicated to hardcore realistic martial arts training. These students trained outdoors, on all terrains, regardless of weather - rain, snow, ice, or shine.

In addition to these semi-private classes, Mr. Malmo offered seminars around the US. He constantly sought to share his knowledge and passion throughout the martial arts community. Malmo Martial Arts also provided instruction at numerous locations in Northwest Arkansas.

In 2006, Malmo Martial Arts made child classes available and established the BCSA Martial Arts Club at the Benton County School of the Arts. Sixty students enrolled the very first week. Four months later Malmo Martial Arts opened its first full time location.

Training
Our traning methodology rapidly prepares students to protect themselves realistically, effectively, and efficiently. This is a key component of our curriculum and the first fundamental purpose of true Martial Arts training.

Students begin weapons training and application of combat principles immediately. Internal training begins gradually, and eventually becomes the largest part of advanced training - from defense to health and spiritual understanding.
